DevLingo ("we", "our", "us") is operated by DevLingo Technologies, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the DevLingo mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This policy complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), and Google Play's Data Safety requirements.

- Email address
- Display name and username
- Password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store your plain-text password)
- College or institution name (optional)
- Profile avatar (selected from in-app options or uploaded image)
2.2 Learning & Progress Data
- Lessons completed, quiz scores, XP earned
- Coding streak history and active dates
- Languages and topics you are studying
- Forge challenge attempts and mistake history
2.3 Payment Information
We do not store credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or any financial credentials. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver your personalised learning curriculum and track progress
- Process payments and grant subscription entitlements
- Power the Foxel AI Tutor with contextual learning assistance
- Calculate leaderboard rankings and league placements
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
